Unpad Vocational School Highlights Coastal Ecology and Economy Issues to Support SDG 14

Bandung, 2025 – In support of SDG 14: Life Below Water, Unpad Vocational School is conducting research on sustainable coastal resource management.

The study “The Paradox of Coastal Utilization: Conflicts Between Ecological and Economic Interests” was led by Shafira Bilqis Annida, S.Pi, M.Si, with Kurnia Lucky Fadillah, S.I.Kom., M.I.Kom., and Selvi Centia, S.H., M.I.P.

“Coastal areas must be managed as shared living spaces that are fair to both human communities and marine ecosystems,” the team emphasized.

Through this project, Unpad Vocational School contributes to global efforts to conserve and sustainably use ocean and marine resources for sustainable development.
